The Krewe of Bananimals is a zoo full of Mardi Gras party animals who gather at the Sabine Sandbar once per month to host meetings. This krewe is among the friendliest on the Island. They host parties planned months in advance, and, on the spur of the moment. Trying to coral this group is a board of directors. The Queen and King are crowned during a summer gala. On a tamer note, the Bananimals donate to children’s charities year round.
