30 Jan 2021 Kids and Kritters Mardi Gras Bead Give Away 1/30/2021 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

The Kids and Kritters Mardi Gras Bead Give Away will be Saturday, January 30 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Casino Beach parking lot, adjacent to the Pensacola Beach Visitor’s Information Center.  Mardi Gras goodie bags for kids and kritters will be set out on decorated tables for the grab-and-go event. The event is being hosted outside. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.

6 Feb 2021 Kids and Kritters Virtual Parade 2/6/2021 2:00 PM

The Kids and Kritters Virtual Parade will be a compilation of photos, videos and music to substitute for the in-person Mardi Gras walking procession. To participate, parents and pet owners should email a photo of their costumed child or pet to The virtual parade will go live Saturday, February 6 at 2 p.m. on the Pensacola Beach Mardi Gras Facebook page and website.

6 Feb 2021 Mardi Gras Lighted Boat Parade 2/6/2021 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Saturday, February 6, 6 p.m. Hosted by the Pensacola Beach Chamber in conjunction with their Indulge promotion, a Mardi Gras-themed lighted boat parade starting at 6 p.m. from Sabine Marina in Little Sabine Bay. The parade will wind its way around the Santa Rosa Sound to the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk and then circle back. Shaggy’s or Frisky Dolphin to watch the line up, or secure a seat at a soundfront restaurant or bar, the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk or any sandy spot. Want to enter your boat? or 850-932-1500.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 12-14. GM Robert Gleim said, “If you have not had one of our Famous King Cake Daiquiris, then come see us. We are featuring them along with the Hurricane Daiquiri.” Get a drink in your hand and grab a space on the dance floor under the soundfront palapa. Beach favorite Horseshoe Kitty plays on Friday beginning at 8 p.m. High Demand takes the stage at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Don’t miss Scenic Heights on Sunday at 3 p.m. Heads up - special beads will be thrown to the patrons on Sunday. Stay tuned for updates on whether the Cajun crawfish chefs will be cooking.

Saturday, February 13 from 2 to 6 p.m.  Beach School Moms Mandy Vaughn and Lauren Newlin wrapped their hearts and heads around the fact that a Beach School teacher’s child has been diagnosed with cancer. They invite everyone to participate to show your Courage for Charlotte and her family. 
The event includes  food, drinks, raffles and kid fun in the parking lot at The Break and The Reef. Come as you are or wear a costume. Arrive on decorated bike or golf cart, in your car or on foot. Just come!

14 Feb 2021 Mardi Gras Flounder’s Style 2/14/2021 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Sunday, February 14 at Flounder’s. The party starts at 10 a.m. when the champagne corks start popping for bottomless champagne, three dollar Bloody Marys. Go ahead, order one of our special New Orleans inspired drinks. Fred Flounder’s Sunday Brunch dishes will parade across the dining room or be delivered to your waterfront table. Stay for a while. The band starts at 2 p.m. Horseshoe Kitty brings its high energy show to the Flounder’s Beach stage. Flounder’s Executive Chef Dennis Moore trained in New Orleans, so expect some excellent food. Red Beans and Rice will be served from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

14 Feb 2021 Crab’s Mardi Gras No Parade Party! 2/14/2021 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Sunday, February 14, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Crab’s on Pensacola Beach. The popular Gulf front venue brings New Orleans to the white sands of Pensacola Beach. Zydeco music! You may have to get up and dance to Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band as they play hits like “Jambalaya on the Bayou.” King Cake and original New Orleans style cocktails paired with Crab’s brunch menu and some New Orleans favorites. “The glitter bar will be back to make sure your face matches your beads with plenty of color and flare,” said Crab’s Party Person Kim Pemberton. “No parade. No problem. We will have a great time.” 
Family friendly and open air dining. Zac The Balloon Artist will be twisting and turning his creations into fun figures for the kids to take home.

14 Feb 2021 Shoe Box Float Parade at Paradise 2/14/2021 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM

SUNDAY FEB 14. Starts around noon, Paradise Bar and Grill. No charge, open to all. The float building starts days in advance as artists and wanna-be float makers begin carefully crafting mini floats out of empty shoe boxes.  There is no entry fee.  Note: Oreo cookies do not make good float wheels. Open to all ages.  Floats may be delivered to the Paradise Bar and Grill anytime after 11 a.m. on FRI FEB 12. Adults take heed. Do a good job with your float, because the winners of the Pensacola Beach Elementary School’s Shoe Box Float Contest will also be on display. Those kids are real pros.
